Welcome to Your Quiz Quest ("YQQ", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our website at yourquiz.quest (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About the Platform

Your Quiz Quest is an online trivia game platform where registered users compete against real players in live, real-time daily quizzes. Quizzes are published daily and played simultaneously by all participants.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

If we discover that a user is under 16, we reserve the right to terminate their account immediately.

3. Account Registration

To participate in quizzes, you must create an account using one of the following methods:

  • Email and password
  • Google sign-in
  • Facebook sign-in

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.

4. How the Quiz Works

  • Each daily quiz consists of 15 trivia questions with 15 seconds to answer each.
  • Quizzes go live at 11:00 AM New Zealand time each day.
  • All players compete at the same time in a live, real-time format.
  • Results and leaderboard rankings are displayed immediately after each quiz.

5. Fair Play & Anti-Cheat

We are committed to maintaining a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. To that end:

  • We employ anti-cheat detection systems and randomised question ordering.
  • Any attempt to manipulate quiz results, exploit bugs, use automated tools, or otherwise cheat is strictly prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to disqualify results, suspend, or permanently ban any account found to be in violation of fair play rules, at our sole discretion.

6. User Conduct

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Impersonate any person or entity.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its servers.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform.
  • Submit false, misleading, or offensive content (including in testimonials or reviews).
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Platform.

7. User-Generated Content

You may choose to submit reviews, testimonials, or other content ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant YQQ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and reproduce that content on the Platform and in marketing materials.

You may choose to display your name or remain anonymous when submitting User Content.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including quiz questions, design, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Your Quiz Quest or its licensors and is protected by New Zealand and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

  • You breach these Terms.
  • We detect cheating or suspicious activity.
  • We are required to do so by law.

You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing info@yourquiz.quest.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform's availability, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform and may perform maintenance or updates at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Your Quiz Quest and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
